Brad Norris is a kinesiologist / exercise physiologist and strength coach. He earned a Master’s Degree with a specialist in exercise science and biomechanics from East Tennessee State University. He is also a former member of the Canadian National Bobsleigh Team and Canadian Track and Field program.
As lead consultant and owner of Power Tek Fitness based in Lindsay, Ontario, Brad has worked with numerous national, Olympic, professional and collegiate athletes and teams over a thirty-year career. He holds certifications in functional performance acupuncture, soft tissue release ( STR / MMR ), Fascial Abrasion techniques / IASTM, Fascial Stretch Therapy and corrective functional exercise / assessment. He is a Level 3 – Poliquin Certified Strength Coach and has served as a lead clinical instructor for Rocktape, The FIT Institute and The Poliquin International Certification Program for the last ten years effectively bridging the gap between performance and rehabilitation.
Brad is a sought after lecturer in the fields of strength and conditioning and human performance. He has presented on an array of topics that encompass functional assessment, exercise prescription, injury prevention and program design across populations. As a movement, fascial enthusiast, he spends much of his free time exposing teams, athletes and clinicians to the Rocktape movement platform.
