This video from Sam Medina shows how to tape a mechanical correction on the supinator. First he marks the anatomical points and the proximal one third of the insertion point of the supinator. Splinting a muscle function with RockTape provides proprioceptive stimulus to help shut down the pain* and send a message to the brain that the RockTape is splinting the muscle. With the patients forearm internally rotated, Sam starts at the insertion point of the muscle and applies the RockTape with zero stretch up to the lateral epicondyle.
